What are the technical specifications needed for the computer to run the program?
The program does not require high specifications. The minimum requirement for running is an Intel Core i3 processor with 4 gigabytes of RAM.
Also, the computer specifications should be upgraded according to the expected size of the database.
What operating system does the program run on?
The program runs on Windows and requires Dotnet Framework 4.5.2. It operates on operating systems Windows 7 SP1 and above, as well as Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Do I need a dedicated database server?
If you are working on a single computer, you will not need a dedicated database server. However, if there is a computer network, it is preferable to have a dedicated database server, depending on the size of the database.
Can the program be run on a network with multiple computers?
The program can run efficiently on computer networks, and its database is MSSQL Server. The networked devices are connected to a unified database.
Can the program be run on the cloud?
The program can be run on the cloud by placing the database on the cloud and installing the program on terminals in the branches and linking them to the database. It operates efficiently as it is designed to work on remote databases. We typically use reserved databases on Microsoft Azure’s cloud service to ensure the security and performance of the databases.
Can the program run on Android
SwiftBooks primarily operates on Windows only. However, we have a separate program designed to run on Android devices, which is linked to the main program. Through this Android app, users can record invoices, transactions, and customer profiles. Additionally, we support a web-based program that connects to the SwiftBooks database to access reports, account balances, and inventory.
If I have a software dongle, can I install it myself?
As long as you have a valid software license, you can download the program from our website and download the necessary tools from Microsoft’s website to install and run the program.
Can the program and data be transferred from one computer to another?
Yes, you can install the program on the new computer and transfer the dongle and database to the new computer. The database can be transferred by obtaining a backup copy from the old computer, then creating an empty file on the new computer and restoring the backup onto it to obtain all the data.
